From the President’s Desk

              It gives me great pleasure as President of the DRDO Mahila Kalyan Manch  to be associated with the activities of the Manch not only in Delhi but at all the branches of the Mahila Kalyan Manch around the country.  It is heart warming to see the various branches of the Manch working towards realising the goals of self development and social service . I have read with interest the news and activity updates from a few of the branches and am impressed with the creativity and the outreach of the programs planned – underprivileged and special needs children, elderly, medical camps etc.

The Mahila Kalyan Manch has grown from a sapling and is slowly spreading its branches; we need to persevere and continue to strive to reach larger groups of needy both within the DRDO community and the communities around us.

I am sure the achievements of the MKM branches will continue to motivate the members to achieve greater success and also serve as an inspiration to other branches to broaden their scope of activity and interests.

I am happy that MKM has been able to launch the website and sincerely hope that we are able to network and spread motivation and inspiration through the electronic media to all the MKM branches in the country.

I wish all the members of all the branches of the DRDO Mahila Kalyan Manch around the country every success in their endeavours (programs for the future) and look forward to hearing from them on a regular basis.
