Hand Embroidery Classes
The hand embroidery classes were inaugurated by Mrs. C Natrajan,
President, DRDO Mahila Kalyan Manch (MKM) and first lady of DRDO, on 10th
April 2006 at DRDO Sports Complex, Timarpur. Lighting of the lamp & pooja
was performed by Mrs.C Natrajan and Mrs. Suman Narang.
Hand embroidered samples were displayed on the occasion. A discussion was
held about the future course of action. This was followed by distribution
of prasad and refreshment. Mrs. Joglekar and Mrs. Ghai were nominated as
class co-ordinators.
The inaugural speech & vote of thanks was given by Mrs. Joglekar. The team
of ladies thereafter visited the venue of the classes that was finalised
on ground floor of 'C' Block, Service Officers' flats.
The event was attended by Mrs. C Natrajan, Mrs. Suman Narang , Mrs. VK
Raghavan, Mrs. Kusum Gilani, Mrs. Saxena, Mrs. Mamta Kumar, Mrs Prusty,
Mrs. Pal, Mrs. Tyagi, Mrs. Bansal, Mrs. Kanta Singh, and other ladies of
the Manch.
